Transit Wheelchairs |

Transit wheelchairs are also often called attendant wheelchairs. This is because they require another person to push them rather than the wheelchair user themself. These attendant chairs have handles at the rear and are often used for people who are not strong enough to propel themselves.
The small rear wheels often make the chair easier to direct and have the added benefit of being easier to load into a car. |
